Many thanks to our event organizers and hosts! Sharing with their passion with our members through organizing vibrant, meaningful, and fun events, we can enjoy diverse activities, learn new things, explore Seoul and Korea, and build meaningful connections with people from around the world. SeoulShare event organizers independently organize events, while SeoulShare event hosts work alongside our organizers or assist with the events.
Meet Jin-Hyeok, the former Salsa dancing sensation turned event organizer and portrait photography enthusiast extraordinaire! Hailing from the tropical paradise of Jeju-do, Jin-Hyeok's love for dance, adventure, and capturing the perfect shot knows no bounds.
But even the most passionate among us can lose our mojo sometimes, and that's exactly what happened to Jin-Hyeok. After returning to Seoul from Australia, he found himself spending his weekends alone and bored, binging on Netflix and counting down the hours until Monday morning. It wasn't until he stumbled upon the SeoulShare group that everything changed!
Currently working in the robotics business at a telecommunications company in Seoul, Jin-Hyeok is an active member and now event organizer of the SeoulShare community. He is passionate about bringing people together from all walks of life to share in the best that Seoul has to offer.
Whether it's jazz concerts, local festivals, or a good old-fashioned picnic in the park, you can count on Jin-Hyeok to put on an event that will leave you feeling inspired, connected, and thoroughly entertained. And who knows, you may just end up with a stunning portrait of yourself to boot! So come join the fun and be a part of something truly special!

Richard is our new event organizer for SeoulShare Running Club. Like most other SeoulShare organizers, Richard also spent quarter of his lifetime living and studying overseas as an expat. He went to high school and college in Canada and US. After finishing his education and earning his engineering degree, he returned to Korea to pursue his career. He worked as a engineer in defense industry for years, then one day suddenly he realized that he couldn't bear working long hours under stressful environment created by office politics. Subsequently he had decided to quit his job as an engineer and left the defense industry for his new passion: wines. He worked in this entirely new field as a sales person enjoying interacting with customers, sipping every drop of delicate wines he preached. He got out of wine industry during the pandemic and recently has been day-trading stocks and enjoying leisure activities such as running, playing badminton, and cycling with passive income generated from his real estate property ever since. Richard values time as the most precious asset that one is granted once the person is born into this world. And your time that is slipping away every second is managed in the most lucrative way when it is spent with the right person. The great Chinese philosopher Confucius once said,"For me to find out what kind of person you are, show me your friends." And also there's a western saying,"You get gold when you hang out with a goose laying golden eggs, and you get fleas if you hang out with a filthy dog." Thus, finding and meeting your BFF is ever challenging objective to achieve throughout one's life. Richard has been part of SeoulShare Running Club since Feb 2023 and has been fully enjoying his life with the new friends he had met through SeoulShare community, and now he wants to devote his little time to enhance the SeoulShare community as a event organizer for you to improve your health by running and also in the meantime meet your BFFs who can enrich your life and soul.
French turned Canadian (or Québécois we should say), Amélie spent the last 9 years in Montréal, where she started her adult life. Although Québec is a wonderful place to live (believe her on that!) she felt like she needed to shake things up a bit and get out of her daily routine. So, by the end of 2022 she resigned from her very enjoyable job in the wine industry and flew to Seoul. She joined the Seoulshare community for the first time last February as a participant, to now becoming an organizer of events she enjoys very much. Events that are good for your body and soul, but that also challenge you in a positive way. Together, we’ll make your body sweat with HIIT workouts and your brain fire up with great discussion as part of the book club. Let’s share ideas, fun and quality time together.
